21st Century Digital Assets Trading

At Alpine Equity Fund Group, also referred to as ("Alpine Equity Fund") , we seek to profit from incremental market movements in the price of target assets. We identify sectors that are ripe for mass disruption, then look for asymmetric risk and reward on a per asset basis. We participate in trading stocks, options, ETF's, futures, bonds, commodities, crypto and other qualified digital assets. Trading is very different than investing, in that it demands acute focus on market positions, valuation, trading volume, asset price fluctuations, momentum, timing, and the efficiency of the buy sell marketplace. Trading activity usually involves frequent buying and selling of positions that may repeat over a given day, week(s) or month, but may potentially last as long as nearly one year  in accordance with the annual mark-to-market requirements, pursuant to a valid 475(f) election or any other rules as amended periodically in Federal tax law.  More typical trades range from same day to weeks and sometimes up to a month or more. Often, trading platforms utilize graphs and charts combined with key metrics to determine buy or sell signals, changes in momentum, etc.  Some trading platforms use mathematical algorithms and/or AI to determine timing for entry points and sell points and others utilize more real time news sources that may impact prices.  Fundamentals are not ignored by Alpine Equity Fund, in as much as this may determine a longer or shorter holding period, and may reveal securities selling at or below their book value. We actively look for outsized moves (volatility) along with asymmetric risk for optimized opportunities to trade in these digital assets.
